楼主知音啊,我也过了六级(因为不是英语专业),但是同样曾经对这个句子迷糊了很久.不过我后来开了窍,现在说给你听听,希望能对你有所帮助.
这种题目的关键在于对from的理解.大家都知道,from是个介词,按道理应该是加名词(短语)或介词等名词性的结构形成介宾短语.
但是关键就在于from这个介词很怪异.它不但有以上的用法,甚至还可以再加上一个介宾短语或副词.
比如: The tiger jumped from behind the tree.
You can find a football from under the bed.
I've just returned from abroad.
It's a long way from here/home to there.
所以这道题目填where(adv.)是可以的,但是填what/which place(n.)的话也是没有问题的!
